Der Privatstand ist wirklich einmalig. Sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Jean ist ein toller Gastgeber. Er wohnt auf dem Grundstück und war äußerst hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft hat eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Es gibt zwei Kochplatten, wobei eine gasbetrieben ist und daher nur draußen genutzt werden kann. Das war aber kein Problem für uns. Wir hatten während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts sogar einmal Zimmerservice, was bei anderen Apartments sonst eigentlich nie angeboten wird. Das Apartment war sauber und enthielt ein Moskitonetz für das Bett, welches wir sehr praktisch fanden. Mückenschutz ist generell auf Mauritius und somit auch in diesem Apartment empfohlen.

Kurzzeitig funktionierte am ersten Tag das Warmwasser nicht. Jean hat sicher aber hervorragend darum gekümmert und das Problem in kürzester Zeit behoben. Die Straße zur Unterkunft ist ziemlich abenteuerlich. Dafür kann zwar die Unterkunft nichts, aber man muss darauf gefasst machen, dass man auf dem letzten Kilometer über eine unbefestigte Straße mit sehr vielen Schlaglöchern fahren muss. Das war aber auch mit unserem Suzuki Dzire problemlos machbar.

Nous avons séjourné ici pour célébrer notre lune de miel, et ce fut tout simplement merveilleux. L’emplacement est absolument paradisiaque et intimiste, entouré d’un jardin tropical luxuriant parfaitement entretenu. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’espace barbecue face à la mer, la grande table extérieure couverte pour les repas, ainsi que la petite terrasse où il fait bon se poser pour admirer le jardin et l’océan. Le studio est adorable, très bien aménagé et parfaitement équipé. Le “starter pack” est un vrai plus et dépanne incroyablement bien (café, épices, pain, yaourt, beurre, confiture, papier toilette… mais aussi jus de fruit, lait et même des bières !). Une attention vraiment appréciable après le voyage. Côté cuisine, tout est prévu : air fryer, micro-ondes, grille-pain, bouilloire et une taque de cuisson. Nous n’avons manqué d’aucun ustensile. Le logement est également très confortable : télévision face au lit, coffre-fort, douche spacieuse, sèche-cheveux, étendoir pliable, fer et planche à repasser, ainsi qu’une grande armoire (nous avons même pu ranger nos valises sous le lit sans encombre). Nous y avons séjourné 15 jours et absolument rien ne nous a manqué. L’accès direct à un petit espace privé avec deux transats et un parasol face à la mer, avec vue sur Coin de Mire, est tout simplement incroyable. Juste à côté de cet espace privé, une petite plage permet un accès direct à la mer, ce qui rend l’endroit encore plus exceptionnel. Le calme est total : réveil au chant des oiseaux, aucune nuisance sonore, uniquement la sérénité. Un service de ménage est assuré plusieurs fois par semaine (changement des essuies et de la literie), ce qui est très appréciable durant un long séjour. Il est également possible de profiter de plats faits maison. Jean et Lesly ont été des hôtes absolument exceptionnels. D’une gentillesse rare, toujours attentionnés et disponibles, ils nous ont mis à l’aise dès notre arrivée.

Amazing place to stay, with very friendly owners and a beautiful setting. We felt welcome from the start and really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended!

Tout sans exception.

If you're looking for something special and quiet then this is the place for you. The room is comfortable and it was great having some basic cooking facilities! Shop only 10 minutes away and some good restaurants. Less than 20 minutes to some other great beaches- the north of the island is much quieter than other areas. Jean and Lesly were amazing hosts- they provided me with some last minute dinner after I was late arriving in the evening. They had wonderful recommendations and were always available to help when needed. The bay is lovely- I loved watching the sunsets and sun rises from the lounges or taking the paddle board out.

Nothing! Just make sure you do get a hire car as you definitely need it. Road to their place is a bit bumpy but managed fine in a little Swift.

Lesly and Jean were terrific,super friendly hosts. The location with its small private beach and sun loungers area was paradise. Having our own bbq area was a bonus. Spectacular sunsets. Highly recommend a stay here.

Very peaceful little place, like a small home away from home. Hosts are always very friendly and helpful. The views are to die for, Private little beach, kayak to row, nice braai area and enough space to sit on the patio and soak up the peace around you.

It's a piece of Heaven for sure. Very quiet, water right by you, everything you need for a good rest for body and soul.
