This was a really lovely place to stay. The villa is enormous (especially by European standards) with great rooms, very comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a wonderful area to sit out in the evening to eat supper where you can watch the sun go down behind the Canyon wall and just relax. The pool area, which is virtually next door, is safe, clean and very sunny - a great spot for parents to chill out whilst the kids play. The nearby clubhouse area looked great with a bar/restaurant that opened at the weekends (and probably for longer most of the year - we stayed in October). Nearby, in La Quinta itself, there are some fabulous places to eat out and have a drink. The Villa is also very near to the The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens (which are wonderful) and the Palm Springs Aviation Museum (amazing). You can get to the Southern entrance of Joshua Tree within an hours drive too.

Nothing - this was one of the best places we have stayed in many trips to the US. Very highly recommended and with simply lovely hosts who were incredibly welcoming and helpful. A real find and one that we hope to return to in the future.
