Vita Portucale ! Country House with Garden

Short walk to the Continent supermarket and several restaurants. Short drive to the beach. Has a small garden with grass that the host comes to water daily with a hose, unfortunately he placed a rope partly blocking it.

Told us we could arrive at 11am but were late for the scheduled 3pm, only called to inform they would be late at 2:50pm. Finally called at 4:11pm to say they arrived at the property TO START CLEANING. We had to find refuge from the heat for over an hour as we have a 3yo and a 10yo with cerebral palsy. They gave us the key and left the property at 5:15pm, leaving behind cigarettes butts in the BBQ and outside sitting area and also an unclean microwave with food scraps. There are 2 mobile homes at the property! I booked the Two-Bedroom House but was given another. The one we stayed has a small fridge, too small for 2 adults and 2 kids. It's partly fenced from the grass garden. Does NOT have fire blanket or extinguisher and no first aid kit. Also missing is the dishwasher, hairdryer and toaster. There are no wine glasses, only normal ones and no cups. Cookware is 1 pot and 1 small frying pan. The mattress of the single bed is 5 inch smaller than the frame, making it very hard not to bruise your leg against the frame. The curtains in the bedrooms are too small to block the sun and you wake up at 6am with the sun in your eyes! The double bed had a duvet but only 1 single had a duvet, the other had only a single bed sheet. All the windows open inwards which is awkward in such a small space. Very disappointed!
