Charming and cosy apartment (sleeps 4-6 people) in a beautiful mountain village

Nothing, it was great!

Plenty of space for our family with 3 teenagers. Great location, gorgeous view of the mountains from the kitchen window, and just a few minutes walk from the Coop where we shopped for groceries. Small but functional kitchen and they keep a lot of staples and spices. We also used the free access to the indoor pool at the sport center (comes with payment of the city tourist tax). We slept comfortably. Appreciated having the extra half bath on the living room floor, that was helpful with 5 people.

TV had no way to connect to streaming accounts or adapter to connect to our devices, so we sat in the shadow of the big screen and watched movies on a laptop on the rainy evenings! The under-counter fridge doesn't hold much, and on our last morning we realized it hadn't held temperature overnight --milk and meat were already "off." The owners are relying heavily on extension cords (with a variety of outlet types) that snake everywhere--does not seem especially safe to have that many things plugged in per outlet! Black mold is starting to establish itself in the corners above the shower; this needs to be addressed before it gets worse.

The location was amazing - close to everything right in cute little Mürren. We enjoyed having a patio for morning coffee and evening wine while looking at the mountains. The space itself is comfortable - nothing special but met our needs just fine as we spent our days out and about. Good value - cheaper than some of the hotels in town with a lot more space.

There was a noticeable odor upstairs- it seemed to fade some but never went away. My husband said it was like parmesan? Maybe the carpet needs a good cleaning or perhaps something leftover from the guests before us. It wasn’t worth contacting the owner - but it was noticeable.

The apartment was fully stocked, had all the necessary cooking pots, pans, utensils, oils and herbs! Newly renovated bathrooms. And 1.5 bathrooms which is wonderful when you are travelling with a family. Possibility to go to the pool and the flexibility of the arrival!

The flat was immaculately clean, bed linen super comfy, and it felt like a home from home . Plenty of tea/ coffee and herbs/ spices left in the cupboard. Liel was so friendly and helpful with information. Easy to self cater with co- op just a few minutes away, which was yards away from the funicular up the mountain. We loved the hot tub at the leisure centre and sores ski at the gondola bar. We loved getting there by cable car and the little train , then a ‘car free’village felt very special

Loved the location. Loved the balcony. Apartment was a great fit for our family
