The view was Great

Everything was wonderful. Just as described. Couldn't ask for a better view for morning coffee and evening wine. Comfortable beds. The rooms were equal in size with the two masters and private bathrooms. Perfect villa for our two families.

There's nothing I didn't like. One thing that may be helpful for people to know is the walk to town is challenging. We're active people and did it once and decided to drive or taxi it the rest of the trip. But not a bad tradeoff for the views we had from the villa.

The view from the chalet is breathtaking, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything that is needed. At the time of booking I didn’t ask enough questions unfortunately, So here are the answers to questions we should have asked! Do you need a car to get into the centre of Menaggio from the Chalet? Yes it is essential to have a car if you’re old, infirm, unfit or don’t like walking up and down steep hills. Does the chalet look like the pictures? No the chalet inside does not look like the photos on line, lots of the furniture is very different. Is the swimming pool heated? No the swimming pool is not heated very small and really not usable. Are the taxis easy to use? No the Taxi service in Menaggio is practically non existent so don’t plon on using them to get you around. Although we were grateful for a lift from Ksenia to the supermarket we thought her charge 50 euros was excessive especially as we had to wait for her and her family to finish lunch before she brought us back, Lake Como didn’t disappoint it truly is a magical place to visit,
