Atulyam, Pangot

The location is fantastic - the rooms look out over the Himalayan forest down a deep valley and there are lovely places to sit and enjoy the view. We opted for half board and every morning the manager asked us what we wanted for dinner and it was then freshly prepared for us. The food was consistently excellent and some of the best indian food we have ever eaten. The staff were all very helpful and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

This is not a complaint, but an observation. The property is located on an unmade track, so it's a 20 minute drive to get to the 'main road'. We found this a disincentive to getting out and about, but there are plenty of interesting walks in the immediate area.

The location was good, room and bath was nice. Food was home cooked but had lots of onion garlic. Greenery and lawn was well maintained

Property levies GST on room rate, but doesn't provide copy of GST invoice which is against law. Property is under staffed with only 3-4 workers due to which they were overburdened and served dinner between 8:30-9 pm, which is extremely late. Rooms are on higher floors with steep stairs, hence old aged people can't stay here.

The staff was very helpful and decent. They were always forthcoming and willing to help.

The floor in the cottages are made of wood panels and they create a lot of noise which would disturb any one sleeping in the room. This floor needs to have a solid foundation so that it does not make these noises when someone walks.

I liked the location most.The ambience was excellent and the property was well maintained. Rooms were spacious and clean with balcony.Had a peaceful and relaxed stay over here. The staff was super friendly. I would definitely like to visit there once again in winters Thank you for providing us such a pleasant stay......

There were no sign boards to indicate the location of the property.Its quite challenging to locate the property. Also, due to poor Internet connectivity, Google maps don't work. Please work on this part as well. .However,once you reach there you will forget every obstacle you faced.

It was a really pleasant stay at Atulyam Resort in Pangot. It is a very well maintained property at a really beautiful and scenic location with amazing view of the valley. Though the road leading to the Resort had no network but when we reached we were finally able to use our mobiles as the property has good network coverage. We stayed in the family suite room with the attic. The suite cottages have cozy interiors with great view from bedroom, attic and the living area. The Staff had a very pleasant demeanour and were cooperative. The manager of the property Mr. Zafar personally made sure that our stay was pleasant. Food was really good and we also enjoyed the view from their Deck. I highly recommend it for families traveling to Nainital.
