The duvet was tiny and thin as a paper sheet. I called the staff to ask for a thicker one. She said there was nothing she could do but there were other duvets in the folding couch. So I stuffed another one, thin as the first one in the cover. I slept with my clothes on, my bonnet and a hot water bottle and I still woke up freezing my feet ice blocks. The radiator was lukewarm and could not be adjusted. I did not even shower as the water was not hot. Zero Wifi in my room. Bathroom not clean. Smell of chlorine. You have to dress the bed yourself. Pillow smelled bad so I had to do without. Food in the closet from previous guests. Kitchen greasy with horrid smells wavering through the entire house. Huge stains on the folding couch from the early eighties. Heaps of dirt on the stairs. Not even the view is nice.
