Maleny Town Stay

The house was fantastic for me and my friend to stay in for five days. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of space between us. The kitchen was very well stocked with key things like cooking oil, salt and pepper, knife block, chopping boards etc. The location is great as long as you have a car to get around in. Sitting on the verandah was beautiful at sunset as well as sitting by the fire!

Clean and tastefully decorated. Everything we needed was supplied and the quality of the products in the kitchen and bathroom was excellent. Plenty of firewood was provided for the fireplace which made the winter evenings cozy .

Only one bathroom for a 3 bedroom cottage was a bit of a challenge. The house was cold with no air con in the kitchen, dining room and only in one bedroom. The house has no outlook which made it feel a bit closed in.

The house was lovely very clean and well appointed. We were celebrating Xmas in winter and it was the perfect venue.

One of our best vacation home rental experiences ever. Home is beautifully renovated and maintained in top condition. Had everything we needed, down to all the thoughtful details, including firewood and kindling provided for the wood burning stove, which was a treat to use on chilly autumn evenings. Well located too - walkable into Maleny town center.

The house looked just as pictured and was very charming, quaint and the fireplace was a cozy addition to the lounge room. The front verandah was a tranquil sitting area with the lush greenery as the view. The bedroom doors opened out to the front verandah with garden view too to let in all the fresh air. The bed and pillows were fairly comfortable. The property was tastefully decorated with all the things you could require and more with the additional added little touches eg a welcome message, wine, snacks, just in case toiletries, supply of laundry liquid. It was a short stroll to the local town shops but not a safe one as there are no footpaths along some areas. The pub offers a Courtesy Bus Service. Highlights of our trip included visiting Booloumba Creek, Kennilworth Bakery, Montville Irish Pub and Gardners Falls.

The Carport was a little tight right next to the side entry gate to get in and out of. The road out front is busy and passing car engines can be a bit disturbing. One Toilet and the seat is undersized so it doesn’t fit the Pan properly and shifts. The Granny Flat/Unit out back was occupied by another family during our stay and proximity from our Kitchen window and back porch was too close for comfort as there is not much space or yard in between.
