Atathi Niwas Guest House for Backpackers and Travellers

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful guest house. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from the owner Rahul Da, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. What really stood out to me was Rahul Da's hospitality. He was incredibly kind, humble, and seemed to genuinely care about his guests' well-being. In addition to the amazing hospitality, I have to mention the delicious homemade food that was served at this guest house. From the fresh food and locally-sourced milk at breakfast to the mouth-watering home-cooked fish rice at dinner. If you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, with normal facilities, I would definitely recommend this place! Thanks

Hot water could be free…but it is understandable for the price they’re asking for

Very crisp and apt details provided by the host Rahul Dutta as soon as the booking was done. Responds quickly and gives detailed information about how to commute to the place, food to eat around. He even provided home cooked food by his mom, was delicious. He also recommended places to visit nearby and was very good with his hospitality in serving his customers. Location: very near to the Siliguri junction and Train station to get cabs and buses to Darjeeling and other places. Stay: clean bedsheets, pillows and a fan with a table and a chair with clean toilets(Indian, western) as well. Would definitely recommend this stay. Very good 👍

Rahul was an amazing host!!!!! He made everything sooo easy and he helped us in every possible way!!! He came pick us up with his bike when we were coming from the train station, he informed us about where we could go take the sikkim permit, and the next morning he came with us to the bus station to make sure we could find place in one of the buses. We are 2 girls travelling together and many times we don’t feel really safe but Rahul made sure that we were feeling comfortable in every single way! Thanksss rahul it was an absolute pleasure!!!! The room and the toilet are basic but good for the very affordable price of the room! If you are on a budget I would definitely recommend this place!!!!
