I Giardini di Cataldo Sorrento

Our stay at I Giardini di Cataldo Sorrento was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Annalisa, who was kind, helpful, and made check-in incredibly smooth. The highlight of our visit was the amazing homemade limoncello, produced right on the property. It’s rich, aromatic, and truly captures the essence of Sorrento — a taste we’ll never forget. The location is perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful and surrounded by beautiful lemon trees. You feel like you’re in a hidden garden in the heart of town. Special thanks to Rosella, the lovely owner, for creating such a charming and authentic place. We felt genuinely cared for and will definitely come back! With gratitude, Rodion & Elina

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Our room had everything we needed including a private garden and complementary lemoncello to unwind. It was also very well positioned and a walking distance to where we needed to get to in the city centre. A beautiful lemon garden was outside and it was an overall fantastic stay.

Location of this studio was great and the hosts could not have been more welcoming! Even the employees at the "snack stand". We enjoyed our time there and the laundromat was conveniently located which we needed! Hosts recommended a great group that took us to Capri which was VERY enjoyable!

Everything was perfect - apart from 48 hours of rain, which cannot be blamed on the accommodation! But its perfect location in the heart of Sorrento meant we were able to get into restaurants and bars very easily and only get a little bit drenched...

We absolutely loved our stay! It was such a cute apartment on the property and the host and staff treated us like family. It was in the perfect location right in the middle of everything and yet it was so peaceful and quiet.

The location couldn't be better. This was my first ever passport holiday out of UK at 70 yrs old. I enjoyed the room and area tremendously. We took ferry to Capri one day. Another walked to Bagni Regina Giovanni. Another took bus to Amalfi and walked through to Atrani for lunch.. Beautiful bus journey. A very easy room to soon feel at home and settled in. Only upset was being asked to change room. Which very unfortunately was not an acceptable room. I did feel really awful about this , but at 70 and this being what I had chosen as my once in a lifetime holiday I didn't want to ruin my week sleeping in what was obviously a bedroom for staff. All in all, I really loved my stay here and would love to return.

Hairs on floor, had to sweep clean to feel comfortable. Bought plug in mosquitoe killer and raid spray as being a garden area there are mosquitoes about .

The location of this property is amazing, it’s safe, secure and quiet and just a few minutes walk from the centre of Sorrento. It’s also literally around the corner from the train station, this is where the bus trips to Positano, Amalfi etc go from so it was ideal for us as we did many day trips. The port is also close by, albeit lots of steps down to it. There is a lift you can use too though at a small cost. The staff were really lovely, offered us a lemon slush when we arrived which was exceptional and just what we needed after a long train journey with no air con. They also gave us a free coffee and slush the day we left too. The little shop/cafe was super cute, with ice creams, limoncello etc. Room is in a shaded area so doesn’t get too hot and the air con worked well too.

There was a really strong musky/damp smell in our apartment. Not sure if it was coming from the bathroom plumbing or somewhere else. I thought we might get used to it but it really hit you when you first walked in and didn’t disappear after being there for a while. Only other thing that bothered me a little was the shower. I found it to be quite awkward the way it was positioned. Im really petite, so can’t imagine how someone bigger would feel, but it wasn’t the end of the world.
