Super friendly host of mom and son. Amazing views and charming quaint seaside village. Island vibes for sure! Some great restaurants nearby.

The unit was very clean and enjoyable again with a great view on a private patio! Regarding the village of Polace, if you're the type that likes everything resort-like pristine and well manicured, it's probably not for you. This was not a problem for us and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously.

The village is authentic and the view is amazing. I liked the calm all day and the host was very friendly & nice. The apartment was very clean.

Zeljka was a wonderful host and the apartment was great. Lovely views from the balcony. We had the National park virtually to ourselves and did lots of fabulous walking. October is a great time to visit with warm and sunny weather as well as warm sea to swim in.

The style is basic,as you can see in the photos.I got much better value accomodations in Korcula and Peljesac,but Mljet obviously has a more limited supply.The kitchen/living room had no window,just a milk glass door.

Polace was a beautiful, quiet and peaceful place to stay. The apartment was perfectly located, at one end of the village, and it had the most incredible sea views from the bedroom and the balcony. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. I loved my stay there and absolutely recommend it.

I loved the size of our apartment, balcony and the view. It also had a nice free parking in front of the apartment. The host was great. Also, there's a shop and a bakery down the street, several restaurants and a beach.

I don't know if it's a thing in the rest of the island but tap water tastes like swimming pool so we relied on bottled water.
