Our stay at Hotel Villa Marie was nothing short of exceptional — truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The team took care of everything we needed, from arranging taxis to providing helpful travel advice, always with genuine kindness and attention. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their warm, considerate approach made us feel completely at home. The room itself was simply stunning. Our suite was absolutely beautiful, with incredible ceiling paintings that gave it a unique and luxurious character. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. The highlight, though, was our private terrace overlooking the water — the view was truly breathtaking. Breakfast each morning was just as impressive. Perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, a delicious selection of cakes and pastries, granola, and fresh croissants — everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. What really sets this hotel apart is that it’s family-run. You can feel it in every detail — the warmth, the care, and the pride they take in what they do. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being welcomed into a genuine Italian home.

Eigentlich hat uns alles gefallen, die zentrale Lage des Hotels, der sehr freundliche Service, das schicke Villen Ambiente des Hotels, das gute Frühstück und das schöne große und auch ruhige Zimmer zur Bergseite hin.

Das Bad war gepflegt und sauber, könnte jedoch etwas größer sein.

Petit déjeuner parfait avec vue idyllique sur le lac. Chambre calme et confortable mais salle de bain un peu petite compte tenu du prix. Personnel très sympathique et service de qualité.

The owners of the Hotel Villa Marie are there meeting guests, and running the entire business. They are amazing people and made us feel like we were in thier home. The views, location, and all of the extras (pool, rooftop, dock) make this one of the best places to stay on Lake Como.
