Aelia Residence, Wellness & Leisure with Heated Pool, By ThinkVilla

Nous avons passé une semaine magique en famille à la villa Aelia. La villa est superbe , spacieuse et parfaitement équipée pour accueillir une famille et des amis .l’environnement est très beau, avec une vue dégagée et magnifique sur la mer et les montagnes , les oliviers.tout est très bien entretenu et très beau dans le jardin . La piscine très belle avait été chauffée et nous en avons profité à chaque instant , de même que la piscine pour bébé qui est très bien faite , a comblé notre petite fille ! Nous avons tout aimé dans cette villa y compris les équipements pour les enfants et le pool house a été notre coup de cœur …le jacuzzi parfait pour se détendre après les visites touristiques, la salle de sport , le sauna , le billard ont été testé et adopté par tous . Mais surtout un grand merci à toute l’équipe de nos hôtes pour leur accueil chaleureux , leurs conseils et surtout leur écoute et leur réactivité pour nos moindres besoins .Nous avions pris l’option ménage tous les jours et c’était parfait , la gentillesse du personnel était un vrai plus . Merci à Dimitris pour l’huile d’olive qui nous a été gentiment offerte. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs inoubliables et l’envie de revenir très vite !

La literie est très bonne dans les chambres ,qui sont superbes et grandes ; néanmoins pour les personnes qui aiment dormir avec l’obscurité totale , des occultants dans les salles de bain , ou salles de douches qui sont dans les chambres ,seraient les bienvenus . Cela permettrait un repos encore meilleur .

Super accueil et villa magnifique

Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Ruime kamers, heerlijke bedden. Buiten verblijf is zo fijn! Jacuzzi die ruim genoeg is voor 6 personen. Service was echt geweldig! De koelkast was al gevuld met een aantal dingen(sap water brood kaas enz.) Halverwege de week heerlijke verse eitjes gekregen, en dag voor vertrek cakejes en een cadeautje voor iedereen Zo onwijs lief! Halverwege de week kwam de schoonmaak. Ook was regelmatig iemand voor onderhoud van het zwembad. Bij "problemen" een appje sturen en het werd meteen aangepakt/opgelost. Goede duidelijke communicatie. Speelgoed/zwem attributen alles was aanwezig.

Her en der heeft het wat extra liefde en onderhoud nodig. (Handdouche bevestiging was afgebroken). Locatie is redelijk afgelegen, levendigheid kan je makkelijk per auto op zoeken.

A beautiful spacious villa with a luxury feel. We were made to feel very welcome by the villa hosts and any questions were quickly answered. Katerina welcomed us with a tour of the villa and we were treated to homemade cakes on our departure which were delicious! Our family enjoyed all the facilities (hot tub, sauna, swimming pool, pool table, gym etc.) and particularly enjoyed being able to cook and eat outside in the lovely pool house. A car is recommended to visit lots of places of interest (we found Rethymno very charming with great places to eat and only approx. 20 mins drive from the villa). Other places we enjoyed included Margarites Pottery village, Melidoni Cave, Knossos and Chania. We stayed in late October and found the weather still to be warm enough but not too hot plus the tourist attractions were not as crowded. The villa was however the highlight of our stay and we highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday which can be enjoyed by families of all ages.

It's a beautiful, luxury villa with more than enough facilities to keep a family of 9 occupied for the week. We were greeted on arrival, and given lovely gifts on departure which were very much appreciated. The cleaning staff were also fantastic. As it rained for almost half of our stay, the pool table on the lower ground floor was a big hit, as was the under-cover hot tub.

Whilst the villa itself is stunning, the surrounding area is less so. For more choice for dinners etc., we travelled into Rethymno by taxi which took around 20 - 25 mins and cost €100 return (for 7-9 passengers). We ended up renting a car for the second half of the week.
