Villa Erasmia

Location for area is great. No modern bathroom although accomodating. Mattress in main bedroom upstairs needs changing (to old and a little uncomfortable) … other rooms had updated mattresses. Great outdoor area although be warned - house cat ! Air conditioning controlled via sensors on doors (if any opened or not closed properly, they won’t work).

The location is super! Fabulous views. Very quiet apart from a small road that runs by it but didn’t bother us when there are cars going past. Lovely sized rooms and a well equipped villa. Pool was amazing and very clean. Couple of restaurants and shops on easy walk albeit uphill.

No shower door on the bathroom enclosure downstairs which then soaked the floor, even though it has drainage you were then constantly walking through water so ideally a new door would be good. No bath screen or shower curtain in the main bathroom. None of the showers had wall hanging attachments so you had to hold the shower in your hand the whole time which is not the best. The double bed upstairs was very uncomfortable and sagging in the middle so ideally could do with being replaced like the other bedrooms had as they were very comfortable. I believe another guest has said the same. We loved the annexe style bedroom on the ground floor with separate front door and en-suite but couldn’t stay in there as there was unfortunately a unpleasant odour almost like a damp smell which wasn’t very appealing, we did try to open all doors etc but it didn’t go away so we ended staying in the twin back bedroom which was lovely but it’s such a shame as that bottom room is huge and spacious but not pleasant to sleep in with that unusual odour, nor the sagging mattress back bedroom. Wi-Fi intermittent and not staying connected. Sofas in the lounge were very hard and uncomfortable sadly. But despite these little niggles which I hope are resolved, we have rebooked for next year as it is a lovely place with a beautiful garden and fabulous views but those little tweaks would make it exceptional!!

Nothing loved everything

The pool was amazing always clean and the rooms were spotless, layout was perfect, we were a family of 6 with elderly members, the downstairs bedroom made the holiday perfect for them, as didn’t have to struggle with stairs, outside space was perfect, fruit trees galore, large pool which was kept spotless, with spectacular sea view, great locations, local shops, fab massage spa down the road, definitely worth a visit, would highly recommend and return! Thank you so much!!! Also there was a cat who was so friendly that stayed outside the villa everyday, most well behaved cat ever!

Struggled to get hot water, could really do with an electric shower, and a shower head holder above tap level, had a few occasions the water wouldn’t go warm, this wasn’t always the same in every room, the downstairs bedroom with en-suite was fine, but hot water was intermittent upstairs and downstairs in shower cubical, this did not spoil our stay, we did not contact the owners to address issue, as sometimes was fine, ?water pressure in area?

The villa was in a fairly peaceful location, with a few nice restaurants an easy walk away. There was a villa being built in front, so we did have construction noise over a few days. The villa was large with plenty of room for families. The two bathrooms in the main house were handy. The third bedroom and ensuite is accessed through a separate entrance door. The pool was a great temperature with sun loungers and umbrellas around. Pool towels were provided.

There were no basics at all in the villa, such as salt, pepper, oil or a lighter for the BBQ. If you plan to do your own cooking, then you will need to bring your own or purchase everything when you arrive. The showers were annoying as they were handheld. Handsoap was provided, but there was no hairdryer or other bathroom amenities. Someone turned up to water the garden for 2 hours while we were in the pool which we found a bit odd. Check in details said the keys would be in the door but they were actually inside on a table.

There were no utensils for the BBQ No plug for the bath, or holder for the shower No keys left in the door on arrival as described. Had to contact owner, who to be fair arrived within 10 minutes

The shower’s weren’t attached to wall and hadn’t got a shower curtain. The 3 piece suite was uncomfortable in lounge area.
