The area is good and the apartament is spacious

The building had the highest risk for seismic activity, marked with a red dot. The air conditioning was outdated and malfunctioned, and the stove couldn't boil water effectively—it took 30 minutes to heat water for eggs, and we still couldn't cook properly. The bedsheets and floors were dirty, and the balcony was neglected. The bedroom was hot due to the lack of air conditioning. Additionally, several chairs were old and unstable. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

This used to be a lovely place, and I have stayed here several times since 2017. Since last time, though, it has become invaded by cockroaches - and they are everywhere, even in the bedroom. Despite my best efforts during several days to get rid of them, I had to leave prematurely because I couldn't take it anymore. The owners are well aware of the situation, but don't seem to be taking it seriously. Cleaning in general also leaves a lot to be desired. Why someone would let an otherwise beautiful apartment deteriorate like this is beyond me. Decontamination urgently needed.

Bed was super comfy. Location was really decent, near the old town and the nice areas to the north of old town, and right next to lovely Cișmigiu park. Views from the balcony included sight of Palatul Parlamentului and the new cathedral, looking west, giving beautiful views in the evening.

Key collection involved going through at least 3 people. First there were whatsapp messages and then I was told to make a phonecall with someone, who gave contrasting advice (guy on whatsapp said collect keys from his friend in front of the opera hotel, the guy on the phone then said not to do that but to wait in front of the building). I felt like I was buying drugs! Soon enough a nice lady arrived with the keys who showed me in and showed how to use the lights etc. But getting to that point took a while. Also there was no fitness centre (?) So not sure why booking.com is asking me about that. Also the table pictured on the balcony is gone, so had to use a spare chair in place of a table. Also there were a lot of bugs in the flat which I suppose is inevitable in an old building like this one, but when i first opened the coffee maker an earwig jumped out, so it put me off using it.

Location is perfect right on the edge of Cismigiu Park, large balcony overlooking the lake. Very well equiped much better than other places in Bucharest that I have stayed over the last few years, plenty of plates and cultery etc. Rooms large and spacious.

Picky but the Wifi signal is very poor, didnt reach bedroom and at certain times of the day speed was very low, being inside 4g mobile was quite slow too.
