Marari Xavier's Inn

During my three night stay in Marari Xavier's Inn was awesome. The host and his family are so friendly in nature, a kind hospitality,neat and tidy environment,good authentic homemade Kerala foods,good transportation services.Nevertheless, the ocean view is amazing. It's a HOME away from HOME. Thank you for your warm and great services.

I wish to stay there a bit longer.

The hosts Sunitha and Albert were extremely welcoming and hospitable to me throughout my whole stay. Sunitha is an excellent cook and provided me with some excellent local style home cooked meals. Everyday she asked if I wanted dinner and what my choices were. I was never disappointed with the results . Albert organised some trips for me with his local contacts. They asked what I wanted to do, and also made helpful suggestions. Albert either took me to the destination himself, or arranged alternative transportation. He ensured that I was collected at a designated time and place to ensure my safe return. As a solo female traveller , this made me feel safe and secure going out alone, and that someone was checking on my safety. My room was clean and comfortable, with all amenities as described. Wi-fi was excellent.. Proximity to a lovely peaceful unspoilt beach was amazing. There were very few tourists around, which was a joy, and I loved watching the local fishermen launch their boats in the evening and return early in the morning. The west facing beach had the most incredible sun-sets I have ever seen!! This was an extremely relaxing 'get away from it all ' holiday. Perfect.

The room was described as having a sea view.This was not strictly true as the view was obscured by trees and foliage. The sea was only a few meters away however and I did enjoy listening to the waves.

The hosts were wonderful. Very accommodating and warm. Truly felt like part of their family during my stay here. The meals made by Sunitha were the best I've had in Allepey and perhaps during my entire trip in Kerala.

It was very close to the beach that you could see through the trees! Home cooked food was delicious. The family were kind.
