Authentic Suites in Fiscardo (Archontiko)

The location was superb. Right on the Port but not too noisy. The ambiance was amazing. Wonderful restaurants with delicious food and great variety. Can highly recommend The Irida cafe bar restaurant. We ate there 2 nights in 4. There is a quaint bakery that makes great coffee, pastries, sandwiches etc. Outstanding, charming beaches nearby. First day we hiked to Emplilizi beach. Second day we drove to Dafnoudi beach for the day and on the way back to Fiskardo stopped at Kimilia beach. Third day we visited Assos in the morning which is a must. We then went on to Myrtos beach but it was so crowded and we couldn't find parking so started to drive back to Fiskardo and stopped at Jerusalem beach which was nice but possibly Alaties beach would have more charm. We then went down to the south of island stopping in Sami for lunch. Highly recommend Il Familia restaurant. Stopped at the caves and lake and then onto the south. The north has much more charm than the south and is very different. Would have liked to do some more hiking but it was too hot.

The room was a little smaller than I had anticipated. Quite tight to walk around the bed to get to the bathroom, especially if there are 2 of you. However there is a little lounge area on the side with a sofa which we used to put our clothes on as drawer space was limited. Some reviews mentioned that the fridge didn't work. It does but only when you are in the room with the key in the connection by the door. So it takes a while to get cold and difficult to keep anything cold for some time. We had a room facing the back on the second floor. There is no lift so had to carry our suitcases up and down the stairs. Also a number of stairs down from the car park. Car park wasn't far and free but not always possible to find a space so had to park on the main road.

Perfect location.

The location was excellent. Lovely old building just off the Port strip with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Great bakery, just off the main walk. Beaches within walking distance. Communication with the host good.. The room was nicely furnished and we had a small outside sitting area. The air con was excellent during the heat wave.

The size, but that was our choice. The room didn't have a drying rack, which you would have to put outside or a pull out line in the bathroom

The rooms, which have recently been renovated, are in a building overlooking the harbour. Surprisingly, the rooms are incredibly quiet. Very comfortable beds. We had to phone them when we arrived for our keys, however they were with us within a few minutes. There is ample parking nearby.

Bathrooms are a little small.

Internet wasn't working . Ceiling way to low near bed and fridge. No cooking utensils. No teatowel or cutting board and knife. .
