Villa Kungssten

Cozy and very clean house and rooms (and bathroom which was included in our two bed room). The room was nicely decorated, bright and had a two super comfortable single beds, and even a nice small private balcony. We very much appreciated the very good connection (and therefore the feeling of being very central, although somehow remote and a bit away from Göteborg city center) and were pleased by the fact that it was quiet at night so one could sleep well with the window open, despite the proximity to a highway (our window and balcony were directed to the left side of the house, so it might be different with other rooms). We did not use the wooden veranda outside the house but it looks like a nice option to sit directly at the property as well. It was also nice having the option to use the kitchen with fridge, microwave, tea and coffee maker. We very much appreciated the decent friendliness of the host(s) - the check-in and out was extremely smooth and had exactly the right time length from our point of view, in a sense that you found an open ear for every question you had, but could quickly proceed with your plans for the arrival day afterwards :) Smoothness also best describes the check-in and out and access/key procedures as well as overall communication. Just perfect for our 2 nights stay! The easy connection with the cable car to the city center, as well as to the ferry terminal (5 min walk from the house, 20 min each way) was highly appreciated. Big ICA supermarket is in walking distance 10 min away, through a nice neighborhood. Hope to be back another time soon!

Villa is in a very good location (I spent 6 months in gbg in the past and know the city quite well) 20 mins by tram to the center, direct access to running/cycling path, 10 mins to Saltholmen to go to archipelago, 1 km to amazing viewpoints above the Barbour and bridge, yet with space for parking, terrace and safe + calm location. There’s fully stocked shared kitchen and Frans or Bibbi will always help you with anything. We would also recommend that pizzeria nearby. Would give it a 12 if booking allows it :)

Very friendly host, good location only a 5 minute walk from the tram stop, good facilities and comfy bed!

I really enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful area. The villa was super cozy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Bibbi and Frans were so friendly, helpful, and nice.

It would have been exceptional if breakfast bread had been served fresh instead of pre-made in the fridge. Overall, the breakfast was lovely :-)
