location, cozy cottage. SAUNA WAS EPIC.

Location was excellent but the property was poorly maintained.

No instructions for property on arrival once inside. No heating on arrival -17 outside, managed to get one radiator working. Bedroom radiator didn't work, all had to sleep together upstairs Light bulbs failed but too high to reach. Induction hob would not work so only oven but no oven glove provided. Furniture broken, TV draw front fell off on daughter. Bed missing a leg, which we had to use as No heat in downstairs bedroom. PlayStation didn't work for her. Extension power cable running straight across upstairs floor, not acceptable. Very disappointed, felt like owner didn't care about guests, just in it for the money.

It is great accommodation, very clean, cosy and comfortable. You can find here all you need including sauna.

The accommodation was a self contained hut with sauna and fireplace. Hoist was very helpful and friendly. Place was in walking distance to village and shops

It was a little cold in the house at night

Lovely cosy cabin, 2 beds in a bedroom downstairs and 4 beds upstairs. Great location, we had a car and everything was within 5 minutes drive.  Kitchen was well equipped, decent size sauna, washing machine, drying cabinet as well as a few essentials upon arrival including toilet roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets. Owner extremely responsive, came twice when we couldn't open the lock and when we locked keys in the cabin. He also alerted us when northern lights were out. Stunning area surrounded by trees and wilderness but also quite close to everything. Cabin was always warm enough. Place to park a vehicle outside.  Wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

Breakfast not included but as it was self catering be bought food from the local supermarket and had it in the cabin or there was a nice restaurant at the Saariselka Ski resort where you could get breakfast or a yummy hot chocolate.

The location was good but I would recommend having a car (which we last minute decided to do) as it made our lives much easier. The cabin is in a nice location but a fair walk to the town or ski resort. I believe there is a bus but if you are able, car hire is the way go.
