Very friendly people working in the hotel. Always ready to help, Beautiful yoga hall. Food very good too. Feel very comfortable.

I truly loved my stay at this hotel and can honestly say it was one of the most comfortable places I stayed in India. The room was bright and had a balcony. Housekeeping was done daily, with toiletries replenished regularly. The shower was excellent, with strong water pressure and unlimited hot water. A kettle, coffee, and tea were available in the room. They also provided a room heater at no extra charge, which was very appreciated. The staff, especially Nancsh and Anjali, were efficient, friendly, and extremely helpful.

We’ve spent 8 nights at the hotel in the Superior Double Room on 2nd floor and everything was absolutely perfect from the moment of checking-in up until we left. If you’re looking for a peaceful and caring home in Rishikesh, I totally recommend Punyah and here is exactly why: Location: Quiet, a little tucked away street that can be accessed by car as well. Many cafes, shops around. 5 mins walk to Laxman Jhula bridge and 10 mins walk to the upper part of Tapovan (across Badrinath road). Rooms are accessible by elevator. Room: Our Superior Double Room had unlimited hot water with a great water pressure in the shower (which is a rare gem in north India!!). As well as it had a fridge, tea kettle, cups and tea/coffee, drinking water was replaced after each cleaning day. Extra towels, chair and necessities were quickly provided upon request. The staff provided a heater (which is a great thing during the cold season) and extra blanket but overall the room was warm by itself because of balcony facing the sunny side. Enough space for storing luggage and clothes. Service: The team is so caring and attentive, we felt looked after every day. Cleaning was I recommend getting room service food after a long day of exploring Rishikesh, it won’t disappoint. Cafe: We had a couple breakfasts and dinners in the cafe on 3rd floor and loved it. I recommend trying: Paneer and Veg Burger, Vegan Breakfast, Malai Kofta, Masala Chai. We had no troubles with electricity or Wi-fi or any other infrastructure. But in case of any problems there is always someone ready to help at reception.
