Lovely place, in the middle of the nature. For us was the stay lovely we like the primair experience. If you like a lot of comfort it’s not you place to stay. We had dinner prepaired by the hosts, a local dish and it was dilicious!

Had a wonderful stay & experience! Super friendly & warm family! It was a pleasure discovering your finca. Place is gorgeous, located in the middle of the forest. Gardens are vast, lots of flora & beautiful wildlife (lots of birds, parrots, hummingbird).. It was a nice little break. Cabin is huge, it is rustic but it is nicely equipped with everything you might need. I shared a dinner with the family & the volunteers helping on the farm, delicious food cooked by the mum, it was lovely. They were very helpful, arranged a last min night tour with David Garro that was great for herping & photographing wildlife. It felt good to finally feel like sharing with locals & experience it. I would highly recommend anyone this place if you wish to get immersed in the culture and find some quietness & nature.

The most unexpected highlight of our visit was our stay at this fantastic workaway farm. The place is a wonderland of exquisite plants and wildlife. Our hosts were simply wonderful from the moment we arrived. The cabin blends into the landscape, with open windows on all sides. The sounds and scents of the farm just filled the air and made for a very cozy hideaway. The beds were comfy and the hammock on the balcony was a real bonus. We even had a pet dog for our visit! Workers on the farm are from all over the world and provided us with excellent company and conversation during the family-style dinner we all shared in the main house. Our hostess prepared easily the most delicious meals we had during our entire tour of Costa Rica. She even prepared banana flower, which is wonderful. Unfortunately, heavy rain prevented us from exploring the farm further. But the time we did spend there was very memorable. I wish we'd had more time to stay. Highly, highly recommended.

We loved everything, but a heads up on a couple of things. The cabin does not have wifi but there is a good signal in the main house 2 minutes away. There is a lovely patio to sit and relax while surfing the web. The location is a bit tricky, fairly far off of the main road. A car is needed to get there. Since the windows are open, there is definitely an assortment of creatures coming and going. We had a bat fly through several times and a pretty big spider in the bathroom, though nothing is dangerous. We woke to tiny lizards peering at us through the mosquito netting, which actually delighted us.

The place was so interesting indeed! I saw different kind of insects and flowers. The butterflies were huge! First time I saw really big ones! It was really safe there and early in the morning the symphony of sounds were fantastic!

Nothing at all. I just loved everything there together with the hosts, volunteers as well as fellow travelers and of course the goats, dogs, and the cats!
