El Machico Hostel

Great value for money, free breakfast was a bonus, pool and social area was nice, laundry service was very helpful

Las habitaciones son grandes y las camas cortinas . El desayuno es algo básico pero está incluido . Hay personal en la recepción las 24h.los baños y la cocina están limpias y bien equipadas. El personal del hostal organiza actividades cada noche .

Podrían variar el desayuno . No hay storage dentro de las habitaciones para las maletas. Está todo por el suelo . Y para guardar las maletas cobran 4$ por noche .

One of my favourite hostels ! Breakfast was included in the price, it is located in the centre of the new city, which is really safe (not the old one) and the people working there are really friendly and ready to assist you.There is also a big kitchen and an amazing common space, including pool.

There is only one bathroom for the room, but it was not a big deal.

I would stay here again. I like that El Machico has female-only dorm rooms, good WiFi, good location for walkable shops and transportation options. Super clean hostel with friendly bilingual staff. Bunks have their own little lockable cabinets and electric plugs. Kitchen is large, two fridges and shelf storage, which is always good if you know you'll be cooking for yourself. Everyone who I met staying here was great to talk with, so it was lucky to be there with such a good group of travelers.

The rooms can be a little short on space for everyone's luggage; manageable but plan accordingly. The downstairs communal area is lovely, but all the comfy chairs are sometimes taken so I'd maybe add some seating. Plan for some wait time with bathrooms/showers, since it's not a whole row of stalls, it's single bathrooms with one sink, toilet, shower.

The pool was nice to relax after a long flight. Bed was comfortable. Hot shower.

Room was above the pool and hangout area so lots of ambient noise - this was the private room. Ear plugs worked great.

if you’re in a dorm without a bathroom you share the one on the main floor with plenty of others - expect waiting times, breakfast could have more options (only pancakes, bananas & coffee with powdered milk)

El personal trabajando de forma voluntaria en el hostel, organizaban actividades cada día y se formaban grupos de gente con buena vibra
