Staff were very warm and welcoming, very clean venue.

Decor was dated but clean. So I could live with that.

The guesthouse was easy to find and very safe. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The house that we stayed in was very charming and spacious. The host was kind and welcoming. We appreciated all the little extra touches, as they made us feel right at home.

There wasn't anything in particular that we didn't like about our stay.

Marelize sent us a location pin & pics ahead of the booking. Our stay was very enjoyable & you could see that the owners took into account the comforts & needs of their guests (extra blankets, warm water bottle, salt & pepper, etc.)! Thank you.

We have no complaints/dislikes.

Our host was very accommodating wrt us checking in before 2pm and warming our bed with the electric blanket was so welcome in the freezing cold winter weather. We had a lovely overnight stay.

The location is very nicely located, in between all the winelands. The host seems nice and have good intentions, however I think a better solution would ve been desired with our problem.

They had just painted the walls in the accomodation and we had to sleep in the paint smell, which caused my friend and I to have headaches. I spent 80% of my time in hotels for work and hardly ever write bad reviews, as I'm not a picky traveller, but I never had anything like this. My friend and I spent two hours to see where the horrible penetrating smell came from. Then she figured out it was the walls as they were still a bit wet. We asked for another room but they weren't available. They told us to just leave the windows open and gave us some room spray. But within 10 minutes we had a massive rain spider crawling in our room and there was a huge storm so we could not leave the windows open all night and the smell we too intense to just get rid off by opening a window. We hardly slept which was not a fun end to our holiday.

The location is superb ! Across from a vineyard and 5 minute drive from Franzshhoek right in the stretch of all the vineyards in wine country! The unit was a charming 2d floor spacious apartment with an honesty fridge-bar that was very convenient. The kitchenette was big and had a gas stove perfect for use during the power outages. The dogs were super friendly and well behaved, and yes there are croaking sounds at night from the pond, oddly relaxing - lol-.our hosts were awesome and solved the issues promptly. We felt well cared for.

The furniture can use some updating (start with couches, etc) we also would put mosquito screens on the windows. Great breeze kept the apartment cool at night. These minor issues would not prevent us from staying here again. It was a great stay.
