The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Maria, the caretaker / property manager was delightful and super responsive. the property was a 5-minute walk from the beachfront and walking distance formt eh old town with al the shops and restaurants, as well as minutes away from the he bus-stop that took you to other beaches or back to the port. A great place to stay - and good value for money.

We have stayed here three times now: as a couple in 2019; as a family in 2024 and 2025 (May) with our now two year-old daughter. We stayed somewhere else (not very good) for a 2020 trip to Naxos and really regretted it - and so we were thrilled to return in 2024 and find that we still loved Arhontiko as much as we had previously. It is absolutely ideally situated, on a quiet track just off the main town periphery road. So, you can walk to the road and be at the wonderful large supermarket within minutes (as well as Cine Naxos and a few cafes/eateries) or walk a bit further into the main town. Or, you can head in the other direction to the beach, which is just a five minute walk through a lovely 'countryside' area populated by hotels and apartments. Quiet and beautiful. It's a lovely setting. We stayed in the downstairs 'Deluxe Quadruple Room', which has a large terrace facing onto the front of the property. The room had clearly been recently completely re-designed and re-decorated and is absolutely beautiful. Exceptional furniture/bed, lovely little kitchenette etc and large TV on the wall with Netflix (we were able watch using our login.) The bathroom/shower room is the best I have ever seen in a Greek island apartment - stunning. As ever, the host, Maria, was warm and friendly and we were driven to the apartment from the port - a lovely touch. Arhontko is the best.

Arhontiko is a very cute, traditional Greek guest house with a super-friendly host Maria. Hugs and kisses are guaranteed. I stayed in Artemis room and was impressed with the decor and interior. Maria makes the room every day and provides fresh towels and little treats, if you are a good boy or girl. I was perfectly happy staying there and was not left wanting anything. A true local home experience is guaranteed.

The local family next door are very expressive, regardless of the time of day. I guess this counts as local neighbourhood experience. Also, there was a little back-and-forth with the payment, which could have been done more efficiently. There is an 11 minute walk into town which some people might need to consider. I did not mind it. :-)

Really clean with friendly staff who went above and beyond to welcome us. Thank you Maria!

About a 15min walk from the centre of town. It was nice a quiet but a little bit of a walk.

El complejo está a solo 5 minutos a pie de una playa llamada Paralia Agios Georgios . En cuanto a la habitación, nos resultó comoda y tenia todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estadía, a excepción de la cocina que resulta muy pequeña en caso de querer cocinar comidas tales como almuerzos o cenas, pero para preparar desayunos tiene todo lo necesario.

El complejo está cercano a una ruta por tanto se escucha el ruido de los autos. Por otra parte, si bien la habitación está muy bien iluminada y en el dia esto es acogedor, no cuenta con ventanas ni cortinas que tapen la luz del sol de primer hora de la mañana lo cuál hizo que nuestro descanso no sea el mejor.
