Posada Mango Tree

Scheidner was really helpful with everything, helping with transport, moto, anything I needed. the kitchen has everything you need, you can make a barbecue outside, and it’s a nice walk to the beach, about 3-4 minutes. there are also a couple of nice restaurants to eat at, and Felipe diving school close by which is the best school on the island.

nothing, just make sure you book the taxi with the host as some taxis don’t want to drive up the gravel road to the posada.

Supernice hosts and cozy place! We stayed in the apartment 3 nights and it had everything you need, air conditioning, a small kitchen and nice balcony and we felt very welcomed here!

Good location for diving on the island. Nice and private. Warm and friendly hosts.

The house is spacious, with a big courtyard, and a nice terrace. We were very happ with its location, near the Freshwater bay, Sonny’s dive center and Henny’s breakfast place.

The front door was squeaking very loudly when opening or closing it. The bathroom was kind of small, the sink a bit wobbly. There wasn’t any soap in the bathroom, but they brought us some once we asked for it. No wifi.

Friendly and helpful staff at Pirata Morgan

Mango Tree was closed, we were moved to Pirata Morgan, which was not yet fully up and running, e.g. renovation of the pool, room would urgently need a makeover. If you go to Aguadulce, please note that there's no existing sand beach after the hurricane. If that's what you're looking for, go to Southwest Bay where's the biggest beach on the island.
