Cool Land Hot Hut Rooms & Restaurant

The price was good and the location was okay.

It is a basement room and felt and smelled very damp. It is very dark and the decor is weird and cluttered. We were just off the restaurant area (which is open to the public) and there was often the smell of food and sometimes smoke from the kitchen. We ended up moving to a different hotel after our two reserved nights were finished. There was a plumbing issue which the owner had pointed out to me as being related to the shower, however it really applied to all of the water in the bathroom. We had to keep the master water valve closed except when we used any water, otherwise it leaked through the wall and splashed on the floor. The food in the buffet sits out all day.

We felt like home, bed really comfy we slept like babies, really good music and an amazing spicy food. The owner really kind and open. We definitely recommend it

Location, kindness of the owners and food. Pintoresque room. In Nuwara Eliya is difficult to find something so well located at this price.

Matresses and pillows were really unconfortable and must be improved.

Very good this Cool Land Hotel in Nuwaraeliya with reasonable prices and very satisfy with the breakfast. This is the best accommodation in this price range in Nuwaraeliya. The worker all very polite and hospitality.

The room was fine, the whole place has a kind of bohemian vibe to it, it's pretty cool. But the restaurant takes the star. We checked in on poya day so the restaurant was closed. So that day we ate elsewhere in town and it was pretty bad. Next day we ate here and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was amazing. The staff are super friendly and the kitten was very playful 😍

My dust allergy acted up a little but antihistamine helped. Still worth it. 👍

The food was delicious and very friendly staff.

The bed was incredibly hard, it had about a 5cm thick mattress. The bathroom smelled like open sewerage and there was a mouldy smell in bedroom. Very strange decor and layout - felt like a basement

Small room. Not so quiet. Furniture and amenities are very old. Need more bright light in the room.

The host (aka the boss of restaurant) and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. Our room is cute, it's behind the restaurant but privacy is protected. There's no fan in the room, but the weather at nuwara eliya was cool at night. They provided a thick blanket. 5-8minutes walking distance to the center bus stop. Very strategic location, easy to get food near by.

The bathroom quite small. The smell of sewer pipes is quite obvious.
