Villa Benita II

Beautifully presented villa, wonderful pool, pretty cactus garden - it had everything we needed. The bed was lovely and very comfortable, the host had clearly thought to make it as comfy as possible for the guests. Loved that there is a washing machine, all the cooking equipment, big fridge freezer and proper oven and hob... Even lots of different beach and pool towels, it was so thoughtful. A gift of a few snacks when we arrived was lovely. We hired a car which was handy to purchase lots of bottled drinking water (didn't like the desalinated tap water) and to get around to local beaches and explore the island a little bit. To be honest though we spent a lot of time just lounging by the pool!

Maybe there could be a frying pan for cooking as well as lots of saucepans, but I can't think of anything else because it was perfect

The property was excellent and beautifully presented by Karina. Very well equipped and very private and quiet.

Lovely outside space, very clean. Private pool is a real treat. Very comfortable inside, clean, very well equipped, homely touches. Spacious bathroom, instant hot water. Very comfortable beds. Excellent WiFi. Smart tv with a cast device. 5 minutes walk to bus stop (e1.40 flat fare). 25 minutes walk to the beautiful Papagayo beaches. While the location is quiet at night time, there are nice local restaurants - Lagar de Baco, and La Citurna. Otherwise it's a short bus ride to the centre. I would recommend this villa, and I would return.

I would have preferred to pay through booking.com. I was slightly concerned that it was a scam, but I needn't have worried.

Delightful little villa in a very quiet and private location with excellent outdoor space and pool. The host, Karina, is excellent.

A secure online card payment facility would be helpful. The kitchen is functional, but could do with some upgrades.

An information pack about facilities in the area would be a welcomed addition. However it needs to be noted that a lot of regular customers return so it is only useful for new customers

Everything! The outside space was excellent and spotlessly clean. The villa was big enough inside for us (though we spent most of our time sitting outside) again very clean and everything you could need on holiday. We were looking for a week of R&R - this villa definitely gave us that! About 20/25 mins walk from Rubicon marina where there are plenty of lovely restaurants. There is a supermarket just 5 mins walk with a handful of good restaurants if you want to stay local. Finally, Karina was excellent to deal with - hope to visit again soon!

Easy access to collect the keys, great location for local shops and bars/restaurants. A beautiful 20 minute costal walk to the Marina. Villa was spotless and very well equipped including a nice welcome pack.

The pool had a heating problem but was soon sorted by the host.
