Forest Glass inn

The owner, XiaoMei, is very friendly and there is a warm family feeling from the whole stuff. XiaoMei has given us a lot of support for organizing any tour what we want to see. Especially for ordering tickets and giving us many ideas what we can do and, very important, in which order. This was an outstanding help, so we could find efficient tours and easy orientation in the very big different Zhangjiajie Mountains. Also this hotel is located near to the south gate of the Zhangjiajie National Park, very convinient also for tous to Tianzishan Mountains, Grand Canyon (Glass Bridge) and Yellow Dragon Cave. Even we have stayed 5 nights in the Forest Glass Inn (maybe more as the average is), we have not yet seen everthing, so we will come back in the future into the same hotel...

Beaucoup d’humidité dans la chambre ce qui ne la rend pas très agréable ni confortable pour ce relaxer. Très cher pour les prestations (Forest pod).

Herausragendes Hotel was ich jedem nur ans Herz legen kann. Wunderschöne, individuelle Unterkünfte, mein Regenbogenhaus und die Umgebung waren nachts wie in einem schönen Traum beleuchtet. Die ganze Anlage ist mit Liebe gestaltet und es wird auch viel eigenes Gemüse benutzt um zu kochen. Sehr kurze Anfahrt von wenigen Minuten zum Südgate. Aber das schönste war die herzlichen Menschen und ihre Gastfreundschaft,allen voran die bezaubernde Managerin Xiaomei. Sie hat mich zu einer Wanderung mitgenommen und ich durfte auch mal mit zu ihren Freunden zum Hotpot und Mahjongg spielen. Näher an das wirkliche Leben in China kommt man als Tourist nicht ran. Vielen lieben Dank und ich hoffe ich kann bald wiederkommen, dann sicher etwas länger.

Dass die Zeit so schnell vorbei gegangen ist 🙁

Wir hatten wirklich eine sehr gute Zeit im Forrest Glass Inn! Nach den aufregenden Großstädten war das Ferienressort genau richtig, um in wunderschöner Natur die ländliche Ruhe zu genießen und zu entspannen. Die berühmten Nationalparks sind vom Forrest Glass Inn sehr gut zu erreichen. Das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal half uns bei Empfehlungen für besondere Touren und übernahm auch Fahrdienste. Dafür waren wir sehr dankbar! Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen sehr lecker, super war der Kaffee! Schade, dass wir nur vier Tage dort sein konnten!

Wir haben gar nichts vermisst, alles war authentisch. Wir wünschen dem ganzen Team vom Glass Inn alles Gute!

The staffs at the property are hospitable and accommodating. They picked us up from the train station and dropped us off every morning at the national park, to which the property is super super close. In particular, I’d like to thank the owner Xiao Mei for the exceedingly smooth experience we’ve had. She was insanely responsive and helpful. We came to the area with almost zero preparation. She asked for our travel plans and offered amazing advice and guidance on how to maximize our journey. I can honestly say that she was an indispensable part to our trip.

I loved that it was nestled in the countryside with a great view of the Zhangjaijie National Park. It was quiet with no people around you. Breakfast was great. A fire to sit around at night topped off the perfection of this place for us.

The access to the property was not ideal. Although it wasn’t a problem because the host would drop you down at the road and pick you up when needed.

Eine kleines mit viel Liebe eingerichtetes Hotel. Es gibt verschiedene Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Wir hatten ein traumhaft schönes Zimmer im Holzhaus mit einer Einrichtung, die sehr liebevoll gewählt war. Der Sohn schlief in einem Glasbaumhaus mit einer einmaligen Aussicht. Das Frühstück war frisch und local und unbedingt sollte man hier mal zu Abend essen. Alles frisch und sehr sehr lecker. Wir wären gerne länger dort geblieben, da es ein wundervoller und ruhiger Ort ist. Genau um einmal auszuspannen. Wir waren auf einer Rundreise und genossen diese Ruhe mit traumhaften Ausblick auf die Berge. Hier wird man mit sehr viel Herzlichkeit begrüßt und sehr fürsorglich während des Aufenthalts betreut. Wenn Zhnagjiajie - dann unbedingt dort übernachten! Highly recommended - great hospitality and lots of peace and quiet in a fantastic location A small hotel furnished with a lot of love. There are various accommodation options. We had a fantastically beautiful room in the wooden house with furnishings that were very lovingly chosen. Our son slept in a glass tree house with a unique view. The breakfast was fresh and local and you should definitely have dinner here. Everything was fresh and very, very tasty. We would have liked to stay longer as it is a wonderful and peaceful place. Just the place to relax. We were on a round trip and enjoyed the peace and quiet with a fantastic view of the mountains. You are greeted with a very warm welcome and looked after with great care during your stay. If Zhnagjiajie - then definitely stay there!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns gleich sehr wohlgefühlt. Man hat sich viel Zeit genommen um uns alles zu zeigen und zu erklären. Sogar die Parktickets wurden für uns gebucht und wir haben eine Route nach unseren Vorstellungen besprochen, die dann in einer Karte für uns eingezeichnet worden ist.

in this structure you are inside the nature. the experience is unique for those who love this kind of context. the added value was provided by the kindness and availability of the staff and in particular by Xiao Mei who took care of organizing in detail all our days. truly exceptional
