Some repairs needed: - Fly screen - Holes in the wall near the dining table Some sticks and/or light kindling would help to get the larger pieces of firewood going.

The board games and facilities were excellent and added to the experience. The place is on the smaller side, with a compact living area — which would be fine in summer when you’d likely spend most of your time outdoors. In the winter months, however, that space can feel a bit restricted. They thoughtfully provide firewood (which is essential) and extra blankets, which was much appreciated. There are three bedrooms — though one of them had an issue where the floor became quite wet overnight, possibly from condensation. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, making meal prep easy and convenient.

Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by a couple of key issues. The fridge had been set to freeze, which ruined all the food we brought with us. Communication with the host was also extremely difficult — despite multiple calls and texts from three different people in our group (using the number listed in the welcome pack), the host claimed not to have received any contact from us. Aside from these problems, the place was fine — but those issues made the stay more frustrating than it needed to be.
