Jakkalsbessie Breeze - full inverter

A spectacular beachfront home ensconced in the plush mountains of Wilderness. Jakkalsbessie was everything I imagined and far more. The views from the home are absolutely breathtaking and Martin, who lives on the property was the consummate host. Property is a walk away from the local Spar and other ammenities. Garden Route Mall is also about a 15 minute drive from the property. I experienced no power cuts throughout my time there, the kitchen is almost fully kitted out with cutlery and crockery (they even have spices and other condiments available to use).The WIFI connection was stable throughout, there were books available in the apartment for me to read over and there is a wall unit available to warm up the home on colder nights. There is also a private entrance to the beach from the property as well. The apartment truly felt like home. As a first-time solo traveller, the surrounds are incredibly safe with a very visible security presence. My stay at Jakkalsbessie was unforgettable. Would 100% recommend! :)

Nice sea view and direct beach access with great outdoor area. Spacious apartment with renovated modern bathroom. Martin was very friendly and always there to help out.

Bad communication with the owner - didn’t reply to our messages on booking and didn’t send any check-in instructions. Furniture is outdated - sofa was dirty and broken, beds had stains. Curtains were covered with mold stains. Overall cleaning needs to be improved. Kitchen was dirty and smelled like old food. The fridge was not cleaned and sticky. We couldn’t use toaster and microwave. There is only one small heater in the living room/ kitchen area that doesn’t have the power to keep the entire apartment warm. In this price category you can find more value for your money elsewhere.

Location and proximity to the beach and other stores. Housekeeper was friendly and offered us laundry service and clean towels. Property has safe parking

Can invest in better pillows for the beds. Kitchen needs a little attention. Allot of old food items in cupboard and very old used shampoo and body wash in shower.

The view is spectacular, it look like a post card

I wish we could have stayed longer.
