Castello di Fulignano Sinadra superior apartment

The location was exquisite. Serena is a delight.

The bed was not very comfortable but the apartment was good.

The location is good , gerden and pool are nice

The rooms and furniture are very old. Mattresses are probably 15-20 years old. The showers are also not good and the water always changes between hot and cold while showering. Kitchen equipment really used and not in good shape. Really think that we overpay for this one.

Beautiful location with views of San Gimignano in the distance although the property is reached by 1 1/2 km of unmade road. Excellent on site restaurant and also a large terrace for early evening drinks.

Annoying little extras such as 5 Euros for a pool towel, 5 Euros to use the washing machine, 5 Euros to use the dryer etc. Please make these available at no cost and, if you must, increase the weekly rent. Could be more welcoming with some water/wine in the fridge for new arrivals.

The location, the view, the atmosphere, the pool and the hospitality of the staff was fantastic.

Only minor comment about the bed, I am 193 cm tall and the bed frame was not comfortable for my stretched legs.

Our host Serena was exceptional. We were made to feel welcome throughout our stay, Serena really did go above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time here, and that we did! The location is absolutely picturesque, overlooking rolling Tuscan hills with beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday. We loved the pool area, a great place to relax, swim, read a book or enjoy a sunset drink. Our accommodation was charming, well appointed and spacious. The huge adjoining communal courtyard was also a nice bonus, offering an alternative place to dine, relax and enjoy the sunshine. Would highly recommend!

Surreal beauty. It was a dream holiday for us. Situated on hill, with breathtaking view on medieval town of San Gimignano, vineyards & cypress trees. Scenic window view from the bed with a sound of birds chirping is unforgettable. Apartment was wonderful, beautiful authentic furniture, well-kept garden and a wonderful large pool. Serena, outstanding lady who runs Castello, was just great and super helpful. Kind and assertive, gave us so many useful information (about history, wonderful places to visit - wineries, restaurants, hiking roads...). Even short, unpaved part of the road only added beauty to this scenic look, and it seems it is obligatory to remains like this (in order to preserve natural beauty of Tuscany). We are coming back for sure.
