LovingStresa Studio in the heart of the town

The location is excellent. Only a few minutes walk to the ferries, train station, supermarket and restaurants. Giulia our host was particularly helpful picking us up from Cuzzago station when we were stranded due to a cancelled train.

It is very small. One room with a pull-down bed. We were there for over a week and had to wash our own bedding and towels which we found surprising.

The place is central, close to the station, ports, beach and city. It is very beautiful, the lights are pretty, and well designed. It is also just a few steps away from the nearest grocery store. The shower and the bathroom in general are clean and modern! We were also given enough towels for each person (3 of different sizes) + for drying hands. There are enough utensils to cook (2 pots, 1 saucepan, 1 pan, strainer, oven dish), an induction stove, and oven. The fridge also has a freezer compartment, very nice! There were also plates, bowls, and cups of different sizes, even wine glasses. We liked that there was salt, olive oil, balsamico readily available. The TV was very modern as well and we were able to easily use it to watch movies at the end of the day. The air conditioner also works well. The vacuum cleaner was easy to use. The communication with the owner was easy and fast. She always responded fast and was very caring and kind. She gave us the code and instructions in advance, we had no problems. What we really appreciated was that she sent us a list of recommendations of restaurants and activities to do!

We would have appreciated instructions on the washing machine and dishwasher. The owner did respond very fast, though, and explained everything adequately. Even though the bathroom heater can be used as a drying rack for laundry, it is a bit small to dry a full load of laundry. A drying rack would be nice.
