"The worst"

Upon arrival at 8 pm in the evening after a gruesome day of traveling all we wanted to do is check in to our accommodation and rest. We called the person in charge as agreed when we got to the port. We were informed that they didn't actually have a room for us within walking distance of the port (we had booked one night only as we were heading to Plaka the next day and we had specifically chosen this place based on the fact that it was a short walk from the port) They told us dont worry we have another room for you in a place near the castle. Since we had been to Naxos before we knew what a difficult walk that would be for us up the hill, narrow stairs at night with luggage. We said that we dont agree and would like our room that we booked. We were not offered pick up or any apologies just told rudely that the room they were offering us was better. We decided that we didn't want the hassle and cancelled our booking. We ended up staying in a port hotel which cost us double and alot of frustration.

Don't book this place. They are notorious for doing this kind of thing to people. Naxos has wonderful places to stay where you are treated with respect and care. This is not one of them.

The owners have 2 properties on booking. We booked a room on the property closer to the town, but the owners told us they don't have any rooms available there so they moved us to the other property (with 8.0 rate on booking). We payed the same price like the room we booked. It's not acceptable so be carrefull! Also, it was not so clean especially in the bathroom.
