Diamond Beach Bungalow

Great location, very lose to Diamond Beach and Atuh beach (waking distance). Fantasic value for money with very good breakfast included. The smoothie bowls were great. Rus who worked here was lovely and very helpful and booked us Tai's, scooter and a ferry as we needed it. With only four bungalows on site it was very peaceful and quiet. A great spot to watch sunrise and spot birds. I would stay again.

The property is perfectly located near the Diamond Beach, it's within walking distance. It is perfect if you wish to go for sunrise views without the crowd! The facilities were very cleaned and the bed and pillow were one of the most comfortable we had the whole trip! The air con was great and shower was hot! So good for the price! It's also close to very nice restaurants and the property has an amazing view! Easy if you don't want to be driving so much! Not to mention the owner, a local to Nusa Penida who is the most lovely host! He was so helpful organising transfers for us and even took us to a local restaurant which was THE BEST! We had a very wholesome experience, not just an accomodation but a leap into their culture! I felt very glad to be supporting a local in his new business! He is such a good person! We became friends and are for sure coming back to Nusa Penida just to visit him. All of that in just 1 night stay! Can't recommend it enough! Just do it!!

Nothing! I love it all

Un sitio espectacular. El bungalow era muy bonito. La cama era muy cómoda y habia un silencio. Hemos descansado muy bien. El desayuno estaba muy rico y abundante. El personal del resort fue muy amable y estuvieron pendientes de nosotros en todo momento. Hemos salido encantados de ese pequeño rincón de la isla, donde se halla la tranquilidad.

The outdoors area was fantastic and very scenic! Lots of rare exotic birds around! The breakfasts were great too and kept you full for long, although the options were limited. The houses were spacious and cozy. Thanks to Rus and other staff for organising tours and trips for us, along with providing us with taxis from and to the port. There is Atuh beach nearby, where it was great fun to swim, although there was quite a bit of walking and climbing up and down the rocky stairs to get there. Beware that you can't swim at the Diamond beach. I also recommend bringing swimming shoes with you to Atuh beach as the bottom of the sea is rocky! There is a nice restaurant nearby, called AB bar and resto. Highly recommend!

The houses could have been cleaned more often, but that didn't bother us. In one of the houses, the bathroom door couldn't be closed from the outside, so we were moved to a different house.

Closer to Diamond beach and rumah phone

It was noisy at night, squirrels or mouse makes bunch of sounds on the roof, the towels were looking old, and not enough hot water.

Die Dame, die alles alleine gemacht hat, gab uns das Gefühl, bei der kleinsten Nachfrage zum Beispiel nach Wasser, zu stören. Unser Waschbecken war undicht, was sie zur Kenntnis nahm, allerdings nichts veranlasste, sodass man dieses den ersten Tag nicht nutzen konnte, sofern man nicht alles auf dem Boden haben wollte. Erst als wir direkt am nächsten Morgen dem Inhaber geschrieben haben, hat dieser sofort die Reparatur veranlasst und es war nach wenigen Stunden wieder nutzbar. Das Frühstück ist nicht zu empfehlen. Aber fußläufig gibt es tolle Restaurants, in denen man sehr gut frühstücken kann.

The bungalow offers beautiful views, but it’s in a very interior location at the far end of Nusa Penida. Taxis are essential, though the stay can arrange them. Unless you plan to spend more than a day visiting Diamond and Atuh Beach, I wouldn’t recommend traveling all the way here for just one night.

I stayed at Diamond Beach Bungalow mainly to explore Diamond Beach and Atuh Beach, which are about a 10-minute drive away. The route is quite steep, and the climb back can be exhausting, but Agus from the staff kindly offered to pick us up, which was much appreciated. Agus was incredibly kind and communicated well, though I found communication with other staff a bit challenging
