The Duck's Cottage

Great location, super host, clean, comfortable, and well appointed on suite room, amazing breakfast, and friendly atmosphere. We were met by Wilma on arrival, who was very welcoming and helpful. Our bikes were given a place undercover in a shed, which was much appreciated. After a long day riding, we didn't feel like going out to eat, so Wilma booked us a home delivery of pizza, salad, and a couple of beers. Nice touch. The room was very comfortable with a nice traditional balcony. The best was yet to come, though, with the best breakfast we had on the entire trip. It was a great way to start another full day on the bikes. Biker friendly and easy to get to, highly recommended.

We had a great stay at the Duck’s Cottage. The ducks are very cute, the hostess Wilma was very friendly and helpful and she prepared us the best breakfast I’ve ever had in any hotel/b&b.

The apparent was clean and comfortable.

The communication was horrible. After making my reservation I received a message that the breakfast was not included for my “yellow apartment” in bed&BREAKFAST (included in my reservation) at the same time it mentions that it’s not included in October. Upon my arrival it was announced also that I cannot order it additionally. But she offered to give me something for 5€. The next day there was nobody to check me out, I was looking for someone to pay for a breakfast as agreed (even though it was supposed to be included), and figure out that I should pay already 8€. When I insist that I will pay as it was previously agreed, she was pretty rude and told me that I can “pay how much I want and should just leave”. Its not about the money (I could pay nothing and leave as there was no one, but I stayed there looking for an option to pay) but price cannot be changed later. Just ruined my day😔.

Gianni and Wilma are wonderful hosts with advice on what to do and see in the area. Excellent breakfast. Very quiet location.

We loved everything about our stay. Wilma, our host, was so helpful but in no way obtrusive. Our room was beautiful and the amenities were really amazing. And the breakfasts - Wow!! We could not have done better! Duck’s Cottage is gorgeous and well situated between the beauty of the Dolomites and the wonderful Prosecco region of NE Italy. Thanks for having us, Wilma and Gianni

The property’s location is amazing. it is in the country side quiet that all you hear is birds in the morning and crickets at night very therapeutic. Welma is an exceptional amazing host whom made me feel like at home with my family rather than a bed and breakfast facility. Will definitely visit again when in Italy. She also has an adorable boxer her name is Eva one of the sweetest kindest dogs you can ever meet. Thank you Welma for your incredible hospitality.
