Casa vacanze Sissi

Spotlessly clean, lovely apartment, great location. Claudia the host was exceptionally welcoming and kind, and of great help when we lost a wallet, getting in touch with the police and even coming to help look. A beautiful town and a fabulous stay. Highly recommended. We will be back!

The flat is very spacious, clean and modern, on the first floor. We were received by Carla and she was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The free parking spot, on a private drive behind the house (accessed through Via Torino), is very useful to have. The location is very good, close to the centre of Arco and within easy access of lake Garda and other places around. The kitchen is well equipped, with pretty much everything you need for self-catering. The flat is very well designed with many storage options, insect meshes at windows and manual closing shutters for privacy and heat protection. Overall, it's a great accommodation and we had a really good time there! Grazie mille :-)

Some minor things: - the squeak of the laminate floor, especially during the night - the sofa in the living room is a bit too hard

The apartment was very spacious, very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking into Arco. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The resident cat was especially cute and friendly also.

Nothing although access to a washing machine would have been a bonus.

There was no washing machine, the rest was really perfect. Carla even offered to do the laundry, but there was a public laundry downtown that we used twice.

What can be said for sure is that Carla was an absolute legend as a host. As she lives in the same house with her husband and daughter it was very easy to find her when needed. Carla was simply fantastic, super friendly and extremely helpful to all her tenants. Her responses via booking.com and/or WhatsApp were very quick and absolutely reliable. She even drove me to a scooter rental about 8km away and picked me up when I returned the Vespa. She gave us lots of tips on where to go and they were definitely brilliant! The apartment was very clean and modern. The equipment for cooking, crockery etc was all there, including a dishwasher, coffee maker etc. There were two bicycles to use and free parking for our car. The area is absolutely beautiful and we actually preferred the small town of Arco to the crowded and touristy Riva del Garda. Lots of nice shops and restaurants within walking distance. Supermarket about 1-2km away. My wife and I came with our two children and dog and the three bedrooms were perfect. Two had fans under the ceiling. Super cool was also the mosquito protection on all the windows. A big plus was that Carla loves dogs, so we had no problem with our little cockerpoo lady. There were even bowls for the dog. All in all 11 out of 10 stars!

It's not that we didn't like it, but it would have been great to have our own washing machine to do a load or two during our 8 day stay. However, Carla did change our towels twice during this time and also washed some T-shirts for us. Again, it would have been easier to do this ourselves. The apartment doesn't have air conditioning, but it seems that hardly any of the apartments in South Tyrol have it - at least it's not as visible as it might be on the Mediterranean. As I can't sleep well in the heat, I was a bit bothered by it, but of course we chose Italy for our holiday and not Iceland ;)

Carla was an excellent host. The apartments are very clean and new and the location was wonderful. such a great place to visit.
