L'hotel est bien situé pour visiter la région du thé.

L'atmosphère 'cantine' du restaurant n'est pas très agréable avec pas mal de bruit. Les buffets sont correctes en terme de quantité, mais la nourriture n'est pas trés raffinée par rapport à d'autres endroits (par forcément plus chers) visités lors de notre voyage. Le manager n'est pas de grand secours/conseils si vous voulez faire quelquechose sans passer ses services. Pas d'eau chaude dans la chambre bien que le chauffe-eau electronique dans la salle de bain était à fond.

Wonderful views of the surrounding tea plantations and valley below. Attentive staff who recommended local activities and hikes. They additionally host an in house cooking class that was exceptional.

We only had 2 nights at this place and we stayed in the only 'deluxe' king room there is with the roof top terrace. 'Deluxe' in this case was in the sense of being roof top with more room and the 360 view, that was it. Apart from the view, nothing else really wowed me. Location. Close to town and train station. Amazing café down the road called Mint of the Mist (should check it out) for coffee and food. Both walking distance.

If you're taller than 5"9 then you'll have to bow your head down as you walk in and out of the bathroom.

What an incredible stay. Hashan (the owner) was the definition of Sri Lankan hospitality. He was kind, attentive, and very informative. He organized drivers for us, checked in daily to see that we had everything we needed, and shared great recommendations for the area. Views from the rooms were spectacular (be sure to check out the roof top terrace), the place was clean, and the breakfast and dinner buffets were both lovely and convenient. We did the cooking class with Hashan’s sister in the farmhouse which gave us a chance to learn about the tasty cuisine as well as the daily lives of Sri Lankan people. All of the staff were warm and polite, and by staying here you will learn how Hashan supports his community. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with kind and honest hospitality.

Manque de certains équipements (coffre-fort, petit frigo, serviette pour les pieds).
