Villa Ambrose Village

Nice and cozy acommodations. Very Nice host.

The house was pretty, with a pretty staircase. The room was large and appears nicely decorated but full of unnecessary clutter! The pool area provided a cool space to rest at the end of the day but is quite small for more than 4 guests. The room is described as "with a balcony/terrace" but it means going out of the room, downstairs, past the kitchen and the living room, out to the common pool area. The room is with a window, but it opens onto a shaft area, not a courtyard as described. Good aircon, pool towels provided, two towels pp in the room.

The water pump system is very noisy, the house is quite noisy for poor sound isolation as it is an old house, and you can hear and smell breakfast preparation at 7am. It has been renovated to modern standard, but the door entrance is stuck from the top, the fridge in the room was not working even if plugged in, the room is quite dark as it only has lights that are quite dim even if there are many of them. Broken loo flush, ill fitted loo seat, no air vent in the shower room, nowhere to hang more than one towel in the shower room, shower bin pedal broken and non lined, breakfast served either at 8.15 or 8.30 only, so not really holiday friendly times.

I booked this last minute for my sister's birthday. Despite the short notice, they were extremely happy to order a cake and buy decorations for me and make up the room. Friendly helpful staff, abundant breakfast and the pool was lovely. Very happy with the stay and will definitely try to book this again next time I stay in Gozo.

Access to the pool anytime we liked was so nice to have, our room was comfortable and clean, unfortunately we were both a bit sick, but the B&B was by far the best part of the trip. and unfortunately Samantha also fell very ill that same morning, and we left before breakfast.

Loud fireworks and we had to park a little far away due to the feast, we had no idea it was the same week.

Modern bedroom and bathroom. Very clean and super friendly staff.

Pool area slightly small. Can get crowded if every guest uses the pool.

We booked 2 rooms… a Deluxe Room which should have had a balcony but instead had a small window and a Double Room with Terrace which had no terrace but a small service shaft. We had also requested to have rooms next to each other upon booking, but one of the rooms was situated in another building not even connected.
