Hostal Elizabeth

Great location in town, staff were so lovely and helped us book all our ferries and gave us great info for exploring the island. Good essential facilities, would recommend for the backpacker trying to make their money extend whilst in the Galapagos.

The hostel is set up on the road across from the pier, allowing easy transit for arriving guests ( about a 5-minute walk). The same road features multiple cafes, restaurants, tour shops, and a grocery store with many products available.

At times the hot water wasn't functioning properly and the wifi could not reach the 2nd-floor rooms however, for the price it was a great stay.

Nice cost benefit, good bed, shower and kitchen.

Please, DONT GO to ALBATROS agency (Av. Charles Darwin, 300) just besides the hostel. You are going to lose your time and money. Check the TripAdvisor score 1 reviews of them to see how DANGEROUS this agency is. PS: Sharing the room with just 1 person is very personal, mainly when is a man with a girl.

Cheap, quiet, close to ferry

Staff very friendly, helpful offering advice with things to do. Cleaning lady worked very hard to keep everything nice. Booked a ferry through reception. Kitchen was food and well equipped. Location great right on the main street. Free filtered water in the kitchen.

Basic accommodation but good for the price you pay. The cleaner came into the room everyday to clean, and there was no option to say you didn't want this (I know most people do want this, I just prefer no cleaner coming in).

Basic but great location right next to the pier, so easy access to early morning ferries to other islands.

It is close to everything. Scuba diving shops, good restaurants, the public beach, the tortoise breeding centre. The common kitchen was perfect and the court yard was lovely
