Host was super kind allowing us to use cottage kitchen while we had just standard room with no kitchen edge, for free!

The room: really comfortable and clean

The breakfast was a bit disappointed: staying in a factory the expectation was to have local food (skyr, yogurt, etc.), instead there was only commercial product and not so much variety. For dinner, only buffet option was available at 6500 kr/person

The room was new and spacious. The bathroom was very nice. There was a common space with coffee and a small refrigerator for our use.

We got there at 7pm after a very long and stressful day of driving only to find our room had not been cleaned and we had to wait 45 minutes for them to clean it. No compensation was offered. The breakfast was probably the least liked on our vacation. The large windows of the room were right along the walkway everyone used to get into the building and as everyone walked by, they could look right into your room. So it was either enjoy the view and wave to everyone walking by or close the blackout curtains and see nothing.

De gastvrouw was vriendelijk maar uiterst slordig en niet om met een tang vast te nemen. Zeer chaotisch ontbijt en zeer basic, potten en verpakkingen, gewoon op tafel

Chambre très spacieuse et récente, très belle salle de bain, lits confortables, très jolie vue.

Wordt gerund als familiebedrijfje, met de nodige zomerwerkers uit Europa; ook op paarden gericht. Heb je voor het avondmaal geboekt, komt alles om zeven uur op tafel, en wordt aangevuld - ieder eet wat de pot schaf, en die pot was prima. Ontbijt ook ok. Kamers (wij zaten in hoofdgebouw) waren voortreffelijk: ruim, modern, top-sanitair en bedden, en aan de even kant (die hadden we) schitterend uitzicht richting Snaefellsjokull. Tevens een prachtige verblijfslounge, met schommelstoelen, ruime opties om zelf te koken en idem prachtig uitzicht.
