When we booked this property it mentioned in the booking details that credit card not required. Having booked many properties we took that to mean we did not require a credit card to secure the booking. When we arrived at the property after a lenthy trip, we found nobody at the premises except another person who said he had not had any contact with the owner. Eventually at 9.30pm we were asked if we had cash for the booking, around $400. When we said that we didnt have that sort of money on us, we were told to leave. Fortunatly for us a man offered to give us a lift to a distant friends house.

Amazing location and very quiet and peaceful! I had a lovely swim in the morning at the private jetty at bottom of stairs. Wonderful hostess too!

Great view out of the bedroom window looking over the sea and the garden. Private porch area to soak in the beautiful surroundings and listening to the birds in the trees. Pet friendly accommodation. For my cat Jack. Especially in the North Shore area of Auckland. My cat was allowed to roam in the bedroom area with me. He also went for a walk around the garden area on a harness and a lead.

The steep driveway. It will be hard to get drive up the driveway when it's been raining.
