Crossroad

It was very clean and well maintained. All facilities were available. Also its location is away from the noise of the city.

Crossroad guesthouse was in a convenient location away from the Police Bazaar but easily reachable. I stayed in the ground floor and the room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Bathroom was super clean. Staffs were welcoming and courteous. Breakfast was included and was delicious. I would prefer to stay again in the same guesthouse when I visit Shillong again.

Fantastic guesthouse - lovely staff and a wonderful owner. She helped me with all my forward travel plans and took great care of me when I was sick. I liked the quiet location and the room was clean and comfortable. Perfect stay.

Host - Responsive and friendly. Facilitated an earlier checkin for us. Staff - Very helpful and always available. Room and premises - Very clean. You can eat right from the floor (don’t try!). Good downtown views. Spacious single room. Couple of good, no frills eateries around. If you are travelling on a budget and don’t care about the things I didn’t like (see below), this is definitely worth the money.

Location - Narrow street and hence difficult if you have a SUV and impossible if there are two cars. There is nothing in and around - you can walk downhill for 25 mins to the city center but the uphill walk back is difficult. Breakfast - Tasty but options to select from would be better. Was told it’s at 8 but it was delayed which pushed our start time back. Room - Feels dated. Double room felt crowded - not much space to store bags and walk around.

Staff behaviour is very good , breakfast is tasty and healthy..

Beds are very small for double adult . Mattress was good and comfy but double beds are smaller in size. I had sleepless night 😔
