The total concept is recommendable. This is a place where the owners have added their love and focus of details to create a place where beauty and clam fulness go hand in hand. Time stopes and you are able just to be present and relax. The place is full of the most clam and well behaved animals, cute dogs, beautiful horses, ducks, goats, cats, both inside and outside in a fine balance, seen from a guests perspective. The property it self has a great layout. Works very well with a guest section with two large room in one end. From here direct access to a beautiful and clean pool sections with a panoramic view to the valley. The rooms, we occupied both, they are nice, clean and with large bathrooms, a nice televisions/couch section and a really nice big bed with a stunning view to the valley. The stay came with breakfast, wrong not just breakfast but a well assortment of various local food specialties arranged in creative ways making it not just a breakfast. Hosts are great and having a nice balance of engagement and privacy. It is very clear they are passionate in providing you an excellent experience enjoying their nice place. Sharish is far from everything, however the local village has many very nice restaurants providing both local, but also cuisines in the high end - at reasonable prices. Also the village is a nice place just to hang-out and drink coffee.

There are not many dislikes about the property of Sharish. A 1,5 hours drive from Lisbon takes 1,5 hours. However you will arrive at a very pleasant property where calmness is this essence, it is a place where you can totally relax and just enjoy.

Our favorite place in Portugal. Gracious hosts, beautiful house and pool, comfy beds and amazing breakfasts.. Close to town with incredible restaurants. Our second visit and we hope to visit again.

The place is amazing and luxury. Beautiful and unique arrangement of room and property makes you happy, relaxed and switch you to slow life. Very communicative and helpful owners, that treat you as a family member. Exceptional art style breakfasts make your day special. You can play with dogs, meet wild horses, walk with goats, enjoy swimming pool or just admire landscape.

Breakfast was lovely, location was lovely, hosts were lovely. Just a little bit sleepy for these travellers, but perfect for a quiet respite from the world.
