Terradamare Apartments

the apartment is very pretty and tastefully furnished, the furniture is good quality and sturdy, beds and mattresses very comfortable, communication with the host was efficient there’s an exclusive beach club almost right across the street

the description and pictures suggest a sea view. technically you can see the sea when standing in one particular corner of the bedroom balcony, but otherwise it’s full view of a construction site from the bedroom, and a full surround of other high apartment buildings from the living room area. as the apartment is on the first floor, there’s no privacy on the balconies. while the apartment overall was spotlessly clean, the cleaner had overlooked the shower when we arrived, it was dirty and reeked of urine. when I let the admin know I was given the requested cleaning products (preferred doing it myself rather than having to wait and not use the only bathroom) but there was no apology whatsoever. the area further away from the historical city centre than we realised. it does take 10-15 minutes to walk to the beginning of it, but almost half an hour to to middle of it. the walk is through an ugly old harbour zone and especially unpleasant if in the dark the small free access beach close to the apartment has views of an abandoned industrial zone (silos)

A lovely place to stay. (If you stay here go to the garage pizzaria restaurant at the end of the road)
