Aquarium Residence 5

I stayed at a nicely decorated and very comfortable 1-bedroom apartment that was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The air was dry and there were no unpleasant smells despite the location in the basement. I found it to be quiet at night and had a good night’s sleep. The accommodation is located at walking distance to the beach and a supermarket. There are various restaurants in the vicinity. There are frequent minibuses leaving from the roundabout opposite the Mega Image supermarket and taking you to the city centre of Constanţa in about half an hour. The area seemed to be geared towards Romanian families with cars, so if you are not one of them you are perhaps better off elsewhere.

The whole area is still under construction, meaning it is randomly dotted with tourist accommodation, there is rubbish everywhere and I had to carry my luggage along unpaved roads. This accommodation as well as the location to pick up the keys are impossible to find due to the complete absence of signposting and the unclear directions.

Perfect comfort. Clean and tidy.
