Piscina, tranquilidad del lugar y parking gratis. El señor nos dejó una botella de agua y nos ofreció unos higos.

El alojamiento en general. Cuando lo vi me dije que era “vintage” para minimizar el impacto visual pero no es lo visual o lo antiguo por o lo que doy la nota, es la ausencia de confort y lo poco práctico del lugar el baño lo peor, la ducha, por llamarlo de algún modo ponía agua por todas partes, tanto la ducha o la cortina pensábamos que nos iba a caer en la cabeza cada vez que nos bañábamos. Tampoco había cesto de basura en el baño. Un cuarto tiene aire acondicionado el otro ventilador. El extractor de cocina no creo que funcionará, cuando cocinábamos en la cocina uno de los cuartos, independiente a la cocina, se llenaba de todos los olores. El sofá cama del salón, lo peor para las personas que les tocó dormir ahí. No repito y no recomiendo

Not the first time in Sicily. Regarding the flat, you have everything that you need for a medium stay - 10/15 days without problems for 6 people. Host was greeting us. The flat is in a hilly area and you need cca 5 minutes to the first shop or 15 to the nearest beach. Restaurants nearby have fish, sea food, pizza mostly local tasty food. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.

Could be more clean and to have cleaning preparats.

Feeling at home. The owner was friendly and caring. Furthermore, everything was clean, quiet and there was a privacy. The great plus was the pool right next to the apartment. In the evenings it made super chilling atmosphere with the lighting and plants around.

Steep street up but not something insurmountable and definitely worth the effort.

This was a very last minute booking as we got scammed by the previous place so the owner was kind and accommodating. The location is close enough to the main road which is about 10 min walk. Be prepared for the sharp descent but it’s manageable. The place is spacious and exactly as described. Don’t expect any luxury, it’s quite old I guess and I think the price is fair for what you get. You have a terrace and a small shared pool. We had space to park the car and bonus a yummy fig tree that the owner kindly allowed us to pick from. Balistrate has a lively nightlife and is family friendly.

I only stayed two nights so not much to complain about. I think the bathroom could do with a small make over and maybe new towels and bedsheets could help too. This has nothing to do with the place itself but note that a good spray anti cockroach will be needed.
