Yonehara Beach Stay LUANA - Vacation STAY 38711v

The house was clean and very cozy. It’s conveniently located about a 2-5 min walk to Yonehara beach, Yoneko-yaki Kobo Shisa Farm, and a little truck that sells amazing fruit smoothies. At night you can see all the stars along with some of the little wild lizards, frogs and occasional fireflies. It feels perfectly located to all of the major site seeing areas. It’s not that far of a drive to Shiyakusho Dori if you want to go to the city, Yaima Village if you want to learn about the culture, Kabira bay if you want to see nice views and really close to all the amazing beaches further up north if you simply want to relax at the beach.

We really enjoyed to house and the only 2 comments I do have are minor. One is the space is limited to put clothes away if you like unpacking your clothes. Two is the bathroom is located downstairs, which can be annoying if you need to go to the bathroom at night. Luckily the staircase has built in night lights.

Nice standard, all necessary amenities, good coffee :)

No tea, patio furniture a little worn out

Absolutely perfect location for everybody who loves snorkelling. Big, clean, comfortable.

the house was spacious and well maintained. The living room - with sofa bed was a bit odd to sit on but acceptable. The house ‘s located close to Yonehara beach, convenient to walk there within 5 mins. Love the idea of having filter water for us~ so we reduce usage of plastic bottles.

There is no view as it’s located in residential area. The place has limited space for hanging clothes to dry after do laundry. The sink for wash up is a tad too small.

Great snorkeling beach 1 min walk away. We loved Cafe Moment across the road open 3 days a week at the time of writing this review, also cooked vegetarian. Well set up for cooking- but we wished we’d brought food to cook with from Ishigaki City. We used the buses to get up to Kabira for a few basic raw ingredients from the small grocery store there, the buses worked well. There were lots of instructions in the house for the washing machine etc, we used a translate app so that we could understand them.

Communication from host was, at times, very helpful but also inconsistent.

The location is just superb and Rieko(the host) is extremely welcoming and willing to help with anything. We gladly accepted her offer for a tour around the island and it was mind blowing (We also saw the fireflies). The place feels like newly build and is really clean and very well equipped. Including a washing liquid and AC. Wifi works very well. The beach is just 1 min walk and is one of the nicest one we saw. You can swim and snorkel there. Usually the beach was very empty. There are few restaurants nearby. Be mindful of the opening of time. There is one hotel/restaurant across the street opened from Friday till Sunday. The food is exceptional and you can also rent a snorkeling equipment.

You need to plan a bit with your food as most of the places around close early and there is no supermarket in a walking distance. You can visit the huge market in the city and buy fresh fruit, vegetables and more. The buses are easy to use, but do not go very often.
