Centerpoint Boutique Hotel

Convenient location. Room was very big for a solo traveller. Fridge and AC worked. Plenty of counter space in washroom.

My room faced the pain road so it was noisy as expected. Outlet plugs were limited. Mosquitos got into my room during my last night there, they had a field day. Wish there were more hooks in the washroom.

The mere fact that it is in the corner of two main sreets, it is accessible to supermarket, foreign exchange, and food store. Hence, very strategic place for me.

Cleaning room is not a standard operating procedue for the hotel; i have to put the signage “make up my room” to notify the housekeeping workers to clean my room. Unlike in other hotels cleaning rooms is a SOP with or without the signage. But the room cleaners are all good & polite & they clean well.

Maybe the beds, but not the worst

Excellent stay, close to everything good food options around. A new super marker opened right down stairs. Rooms are clean, and beds are comfortable. Felt very safe as well, Lao people are some of the friendliest in the world.

Location of the hotel was great. Many restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store next door. Quiet for the most part, except when a car or truck wished to rev their engine. The bed was very comfortable.

The shower was small for such a large living area. It was so out of portion with the rest of the room. The shower leaked and allowed water to travel all over the bathroom. Asked management to correct the issue, did not attempt. Had to ask for seating. Was provided. The TV is too small for comfortably watching TV. Especially how large the room is. The room was not decorated at all. It was very plain, similar to a dorm.

Apparently all the right rooms were booked and they put us in the left-over room. The one they use for emergencies. A small window in a corner with a closet half in front. The described city view was a view to a blind wall at 2 meters. No two seater couch but a black chair. Only one night stand and night lamp. And the bathroom smelled. They were fully booked so only moved us to a correct room the next day. That room was good and as advertised. We did not get any compensation for the night in the bad room paying the full price, the hassle of getting it straight, packing and unpacking and moving. So in conclusion, if they give you the booked room it is a good hotel. For us it was not and obviously we will never stay there again

See above. Hotels should not sell more rooms than they actually have available.

Nice hotel in the city center

The staff were very friendly. Location was great. Lots of places to eat that are within walking distance. Night market was only 10 mins walk from hotel. Our 3 rooms were cleaned very well each day.

The shower head is not flexible and so it was difficult to direct the water towards you to shower. The water also needed to be adjusted frequently to get it to the right temperature.
