A beautiful breakfast was included with the very reasonable price of the room. Location was quiet and beautiful. Rooms were clean and bright. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a relaxing and low key stay, as San Lorenzo is a very small town. Peaceful beach to enjoy with no hawkers, and a fun little hike up to the lighthouse. Not a town to come to if you’re looking for nightlife and lots of other tourists.

The rooftop and garden are nice. It is just a short walk from the beach.

The bed was really old and awful. I could feel the springs and it was u-shaped. There was not a bedside lamp and the room was very dark, humid, smelly and full of mosquitoes. Nothing was done to alleviate the mosquito problem. This standard is unacceptable even for budget accommodation. The place was not clean with lots of animal droppings in the toilet area. The room felt unclean but maybe it was just the bad smell as it was a bit difficult to see properly due to lack of windows and light.

Hosts are super nice. They help you with everything. You feel directly at home. 😊 Best fresh fruit juces and Piña colada! Very nice beach with the possibility to see baby turtels finding their way to the see. Best surfspot around: San Mateo. 🏄🏽‍♂️🏄‍♀️

Room was spacious with comfortable bed. I slept like a baby. Great access to the beach. Beautiful property. Staff were friendly. I enjoyed my breakfasts with the view of the ocean.

Check in was a little confusing. I had a small ant situation going on outside my room.

The location was very good, the breakfast was excellent and especially the hosts made the whole experience extremely nice.

They could improve the fan, the room was a bit too hot.

Everything! Mambo Ecohostal is a perfect place to chose when staying in San Lorenzo. Great hosts, good vibes, delicious croissants and pain du chocolate 😏, clean and peaceful. Totally recommend!
