Beautiful location, and if we had been staying longer than one night, it would have been the perfect place to relax and read in the sunshine. We arrived late afternoon and missed out on this aspect of the property. The property was clean and tidy: it has a lovely bathroom with an excellent shower. The bedroom was very tastefully done, with an good bed, and opened onto a small patio with a chimenea and wood to burn in it, with the garden beyond, and a view of Lake Taupo in the distance. Breakfast was provided in a little pantry style room with a fridge and crockery, and was all we needed. Cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast and spreads. There is hanging space in this room for a longer stay. Beyond a toaster and kettle there are no cooking facilities however. Taupō is a drive away and has plenty of eating places. Internet access is good.

Finding the actual place proved problematical, and we wandered around an adjacent empty property bewildered. They just need a big sign on their gate at the end of the drive. You can’t see the house from the road so to us it just looked like a field with trees and we were loath to drive down it. We eventually did and to our great relief spotted a house and a person! I think for UK visitors advertising it as a B & B conjures up a cooked breakfast provided at a table, or a continental breakfast in similar surroundings. It’s a good breakfast but you get it yourself!

Lovely family! They were very kind and helpful and gave us nice local informations. We could also use their washing maschine. The view and surroundings are stunning! We love Moss and Luna!

Wow! What a find. Quiet location, high quality presentation. Finished the evening looking at the amazing sunset over the hills beyond and woke (very refreshed) to bird song. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom was really nice with a super powerful shower and warm water. The breakfast was lovely as well. We received an incredibly warm welcome from the owners and their dog. We received information about what to do locally and you can’t ask for more. The chimnea was loaded and ready to go and the whole setting was incredibly inviting. We don’t have a single bad word to say and can only highly recommend this property.

Beautiful location. An extension of a private home, but privacy respected. Separate entrance.

The shower does not drain well, but should be easily solvable. No tissues in the room.

Great hosts. Comfortable room. Had everything we needed.

The location was fantastic, and sitting on the bean bags at night looking at all the stars was amazing !
